Week 3 of Fraser's Comprehensive course

Week 3 had slightly less content than week 2 in terms of time spent studying.

In terms of pre-class work, there were two videos on genes and inheritance.

During class for section 1 we discussed stem and question types that we may find in S1 questions and mental processes of overthinking and under thinking. Followed by post class questions and videos about question types and the process of elimination. Section 2 webinar was about application of theme, approaches to ideas and basic essay structure. In biology we covered genetics, cell division, pathways, epigenetics, punnet squares, modes of inheritance, and medical epidemiology. Post class work consisted of videos on RNA/DNA replication epigenetics and epidemiology with a quiz. In chemistry we covered thermodynamics, kinetics and the basics of redox reactions with a quiz and post class videos on balancing redox and half equations, and the electrochemical series. In physics we covered materials and energy, fluids and buoyancy, nuclear physics, sound and waves, and light. The post class work consisted of videos on solids, liquids and gases and a quiz.

There weren't any specific take-aways this week since most of the concepts we covered were theories or pretty obvious observations, for example identifying tone type questions.
